Slow flower floral designer

Fleuriste éco-responsable

Bonjour! I am Muriel,

I am the owner of Muriel Fleurs, an artisanal floral design studio in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. I am deeply passionate about the medium of flowers, foliage, and other organic elements to highlight nature’s beauty and connect people to Earth Mother. I offer wildflower-inspired residential and business seasonal floral designs, bouquets, and weekly seasonal subscriptions. I am very fond of dried flowers, and I hope you fall in love with their everlasting beauty.

I am the in-house floral design coordinator at Blue Hill Farm at Stone Barns, and during wedding season, I also freelance for some amazing local floral designers.

I am a Slow Flower member whose business focuses on sustainable practices. My designs are foam-free, never dyed or bleached, and my cut flower garden is free of pesticides or herbicides. Sustainable floristry and gardening are better for our health, you, and our beautiful planet. During my fresh flower season, I only use in-season blooms from my cottage-style cut flower garden and local flower farmers who, like me, use sustainable farming practices and always respect our environment. My cut flower garden is also a pollinator pathway.

I am a certified New York Botanical Garden floral designer and an alumnus of the 2021 Floret Workshop and the Flower Farming School online.

Muriel Fleurs is about cultivating and creating beauty in harmony with the natural rhythm of the seasons. I am delighted to share with you the myriad of beautiful and unusual blooms that grace my gardens, as well as the hidden treasures that nature unveils throughout the year. Join me on this journey of discovery and appreciation of nature's bounty.
